Just like Georgia 811 leads the way in damage prevention we know we can lead the way in giving this most precious gift, the gift of life. Did you know that someone needs blood every two seconds in the United States? The Gift of Blood is the Gift of Life!!
So roll up your sleeves Georgia 811 Employees, Members, Excavators, Families and Friends and let’s show them how we do it in Georgia!!!
Why Donate Blood?
- You don't need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason.
- Some of us give blood because we were asked by a friend.
- Some know that a family member or a friend might need blood someday.
- Some believe it is the right thing to do.
Whatever your reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply. And you'll feel good knowing you've helped change a life.
