Eligibility:
The August 2025 Incentive Plan for Professional Excavators, 811 Day Promotion – Submit. Dig Safely. Win. is open only to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
Residency: Must be legal residents of the United States.
Professional Status: Must be employed as or contracted as a professional excavator, meaning an individual who engages in commercial or utility excavation activities as part of their trade or profession.
Stage 1 Eligibility – Onboarding Incentive:
To be eligible for the Stage 1 reward ($25 gift card), participants must:
Have never previously submitted an online ticket through Georgia 811’s online ticketing system (excluding eRequest).
Complete Georgia 811 Excavator Training for Full Access Users via the Easy Self-Paced Training method Traditional Webinar (https://georgia811.com/online-ticket-training/) during between July 25, 2025, and August 31, 2025).
Log in to Georgia 811’s online ticketing system and submit at least one ticket during the Promotion Period.
Eligible participants who meet all three requirements for Stage 1 will receive one (1) $25 digital gift card of choice, delivered via Tango Card. Inc (noreply@tangocard.com). Limit one Stage 1 reward per person.
Stage 2 Eligibility – Usage Incentive Drawing:
To be eligible for the Stage 2, participants must:
Be a professional excavator as defined above.
Submit one or more tickets online through Georgia 811’s online ticketing system during the Promotion Period (August 1–31, 2025).
Each eligible online ticket submitted during the Promotion Period will count as one (1) entry into the Stage 2 prize drawing. No maximum limit on entries. Stage 1 reward winners are eligible to participate in Stage 2 prize drawing.
Stage 2 Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize: $500 gift card of choice (via Tangocard.com) or power tool of equal value.
One (1) Second Prize: $250 gift card of choice.
Five (5) Runner-Up Prizes: $100 gift card of choice.
Winners for Stage 2 will be selected in a random drawing held after the conclusion of the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Additional Eligibility Terms
Any participant found to have submitted false, fraudulent, or intentionally inaccurate tickets for the purpose of entering the sweepstakes will be immediately disqualified from the entire promotion.
The following ticket type submissions in the online ticketing system are included: normal, updates, emergencies, overhead, and design.
Employees, officers, and directors of Georgia 811 and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
Eligibility is limited to individuals who are 18 years of age as of August 1, 2025.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted except at the sole discretion of Georgia 811.
Georgia 811 reserves the right to verify eligibility and compliance with these rules.
The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Agreement to Rules:
By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Georgia 811 as final and binding as it relates to the content. Registration is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
After receiving credentials to become a full access user, submit at least (1) ticket in the online ticketing system (https://geocall.ga811.com/geocall/portal). eRequests do NOT qualify.
Stage 2: Log into the ticketing system at https://geocall.ga811.com/geocall/portal to submit online tickets. Each ticket submission will automatically receive one entry into the prize drawing.
Fraudulent methods or other attempts to circumvent the rules of the sweepstakes may disqualify entries and will be at the sole discretion of Georgia 811.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner selection and notification:
At the conclusion of each week in August 2025, all eligible winners for Stage 1 will receive an email from noreply@tangocard.com with instructions for gift card selection and redemption. For Stage 2, a random drawing will occur at the conclusion of the promotional period under the supervision of Georgia 811. Winners will be notified via email from Georgia 811 and must respond via email to verify acceptance of prize. Winners will then receive an email from noreply@tangocard.com with instructions for gift card selection and redemption. The grand prize winner may select a $500 gift card option from Tango Card. Inc or a power tool of their choice valued at up to $500 (excluding any applicable taxes, shipping, and fees). Georgia 811 will provide a website link to a major retailer from which to select a power tool should the grand prize winner choose the tool option reward. Winners for Stage 2 prizes have (7) days to respond to the Georgia 811 email to accept the prize. If no confirmation is made, Georgia 811 will choose another winner and notify her/him by email. Georgia 811 shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If selected winners cannot be contacted, do not respond to selection notification within (7) days, or are ineligible, alternate winners will be selected. Winners may not transfer their selection to another.
Rights Granted by you: By entering this content you understand that Georgia 811, anyone acting on behalf of Georgia 811, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Registration, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
Terms: Georgia 811 reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the sweepstakes. In such case, Georgia 811 may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Georgia 811. Georgia 811 reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or violates these Terms & Conditions.
Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Georgia 811 reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Disputes: REGISTRATION IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND GEORGIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Georgia having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
