January News

Coming Soon…

Georgia 811 has been hard at work enhancing our products and services to make safe digging easier for those in the field. Our first big 2026 release will be a new version of our mobile app with features allowing more accessible prevention information to all users, including member contact information, Spanish-language PRIS descriptions, and improved map options. Stay tuned for release information in the coming weeks!

3N Fees

As was announced in the Fall, beginning January 1, 2026, those members who have PRIS Code 3N listed as their response code on a locate request as of midnight on the RESPONSE BY date will receive a 3N Late Notice notification and the associated fee for the additional transmission. These fees will be realized on invoices that will be sent at the end of this calendar year. Members are encouraged to stay up-to-date on their charged fees and 3N usage by regularly reviewing their Billing 2026 summaries in the Member Reporting Tool, ThoughtSpot.

MLK Day

Georgia 811 offices will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, but our contact center will remain open to assist with all ticket types except Large Projects and Design tickets. Please plan your work accordingly.
