Large Projects Just got Easier
Large Project tickets can now be initiated ONLINE on the Georgia 811 website. Use the Large Project Online Locate Request form to start the process by completing a questionnaire. A Georgia 811 Customer Service Representative will then contact you to provide your ticket number and confirm the Large Project Meeting Notification. Dash Camera Giveaway
Georgia 811’s monthly social media giveaway is a Pruveeo dash cam. A dash cam can provide critical protection in the unfortunate event of an auto accident. This month, two winners will receive a Pruveeo dash cam. Enter by Monday, July 15th at 5:00pm EST to win by visiting the pinned post on the Georgia 811 Facebook page. Follow the page to stay current on all monthly giveaways and important Georgia 811 info.
New Mobile App
The Georgia 811 mobile app is new, improved, and receiving great feedback. Check out the app to view PRIS response codes and to respond to tickets as a member utility. Ensuring that your ticket has received all marked, clear, or no conflict codes prior to digging is an essential way to prevent utility damage, so equip your crews to view PRIS out in the field. Simply search “Georgia 811” in the App Store or Google Play.
4th of July
Georgia 811 offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of Independence Day. During this time the contact center will be accepting locate requests for damages and emergencies only. Please plan your work accordingly.
Summits – Registration Out Next Month
Registration for Georgia 811’s Damage Prevention Summits will open in August. Mark the Summits on your calendar now – Tifton on September 19, Braselton on October 3, and Dalton on November 7. The events are free to attend and are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sponsorships and vendors are still being accepted, with information available here.

Member Reporting

Georgia 811’s Customer Connections Department is now Member Services. They can be reached at MemberServices@Georgia811.com or 770-623-5786 for questions regarding member sign up, service area management, responding to PRIS, and updating user or company information. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
