Learning Management System Transition Underway
Georgia 811 is making great progress in transitioning to our new online learning system which will provide a more modern, user-friendly training experience.
As part of this transition, our online Safe Digging courses will be temporarily unavailable beginning next Monday, July 27, while user information is securely transferred to the new platform. During this time, Ticket Portal Training will remain available through an alternate training page so new users can continue to obtain the credentials needed to access the Georgia 811 Ticket Portal.
Please complete any unfinished modules in the High Voltage Safety Act, Marking Standards, and Georgia 811 Damage Prevention Competent Person training courses by Sunday as partial completion will not be saved in the new system.

New features include secure sign-in, saved ticket templates, built-in validation to improve ticket accuracy, a mobile-friendly design, and automatic approval for qualifying requests. Available 24/7 with no training required, eRequest provides a fast, convenient way to submit locate requests anytime, anywhere.

New Member Best Practices Training Now Available
Georgia 811 has launched a new Member Best Practices online training series designed to help utility owners/operators strengthen compliance, improve efficiency, and support damage prevention efforts.
The training is divided into nine self-paced modules, allowing participants to complete only the topics most relevant to their role or organization. Courses include subjects such as the Georgia Underground Facility Protection Act (GUFPA), the High Voltage Safety Act, service area map management, locating and responding to tickets, member analytics tools, how to complete a damage investigation, and more.
Whether you’re onboarding new employees or providing a refresher for experienced staff, these free online courses offer practical guidance to help your organization meet its responsibilities and promote safe excavation across Georgia.
